Neutral Farmhouse Spring Home Tour 2020

Happy Spring Everyone!! And if you’re joining me from Areeba’s blog, Mint And Candy Designs, I am so happy you are here joining us on our blog hop!! And please be sure to check out Jenna over at The Collected House  for more great Spring home decor!! I just love when everything starts turning green, and the flowers start blooming! That smell of fresh cut grass, is my favorite. Spring this year is a little different, since were in a shelter in place. But, we’re making the best of it, and enjoying the time home, and of course the chaos! A few of my friends and myself are sharing our spring homes, in hope we can bring some Inspo to you!

Being stuck inside doesn’t mean things can’t be pretty, right?!? Trying to be budget friendly and shop my home, are my go to’s this year when it comes to decorating. So, of course when decorating for spring I kept that theme in mind.

Entryway

Starting this tour, I found it only fitting to start at the entryway, My heart is neutral, I’m a lover of black, white and wood tones. but this spring I wanted to add a pop of color with my neutral decor. I found this print at Hobby Lobby ( spring section) and found it to be perfect for the entry way. I added a few plants. Snake plant and this mini fig are both inexpensive and easy to care for plants, if you’re looking to add some real plants to your home.

Mantel

The mantel I decided to keep pretty neutral with blacks whites and woods, making it easy to transition to summer. This cute bunny I found at target was the perfect spring touch.

Living Room

Decorating this console table is one of my favorite places to decorate in my home. Finding this console table for twenty five dollars on facebook marketplace, I was able to give it a new life with a coat of paint. The mirror is also a dollar tree hack costing less than twenty dollars to make. I added this pretty hydrangea picture to give it a neutral, but spring touch. I found this painting at Hobby Lobby last Spring.

Adding pops of green, can be the easiest way to make a home feel fresh, and give it new life. When in doubt always add green. I went with more of the neutral farmhouse with some pops of green, in my living room and kitchen.

Kitchen

Speaking of green, I just adored this sign from Oh Sweet Skye, the blossom line has the perfect spring signs! And I felt this sign was a perfect touch of spring as well as pop of color. With this metal truck that was a diy from last spring and some fresh flowers from Trader Joe’s. Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite places to pick up inexpensive fresh flowers. Fresh flowers will give your home an instant spring feeling!

Master Bedroom

Onto my master bedroom, I changed out throw pillows, and exchanged the duvet for a quilt, making the space a little lighter. And added the PCB home Love You, sign above my bed.

Master Bedroom

The bathroom is pretty light, and was easy to tackle for spring, by just adding some faux white peonies. I found these a few years ago at home goods for under $10.

Dining Room

The dining room is another favorite place to decorate throughout the seasons. Whether it be winter or spring, I adore putting simple seasonal touches on this space to create an inviting room of my home. Adding a green eucalyptus garland to the table along with these faux cement bunnies, to keep it neutral, but still adding spring touches.

I added a pop of color above the hutch with a floral canvas art, I found at home goods for under $10. Another little touch were these bunny wreaths from the Target Dollar Spot.

Lastly, using florals, like lilacs, and tulips to give the dining room those little spring touches.
