Jackson’s First Stitch Fix Kids
I feel overwhelmed, as a mom, especially this week. Sometimes it can be a lot to try and keep all the balls up in the air, and act like I got it together. One thing I recently tried was Stitch Fix. Now if you’ve read my blogs before you know that I’ve been using Stitch fix for years! What I mean is I tried Stitch Fix Kids for the first time. They just started this new service for kids, and I was pumped to try it out. If you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix before its a subscription service that sends you hand picked clothing and accesories. Check out my blog Here for all the details!
Back to being overwhelmed. With the seasons changing and four kids to clothe I have to start looking at sales, and trying to make a list of who needs what. Not to mention I have a teenager in the house who doesn’t make it any less cheap. When I saw that Stitch fix was offering kids sizes, I thought to try it out. Since it was around the school year starting I had Jackson my five year old test it out. Plus I always seem to find the cutest girl clothing and I feel everything can be the same for the boys, so I wanted to see if they had some different styles.
Jackson was pretty excited to take the stylist profile quiz. He sat with me and picked out the outfits he liked and didn’t like. I have to admit I was pretty surprised by how enthused he was by this. Especially because if its not a car, monster truck, of video game he wants no part of it. The style profile quiz only took about five minutes, if it took any longer Jackson probably would’ve lost interest.
Jackson’s Stitch Fix Kids
We didn’t receive his Stitch Fix Kids until last week, but thats because I dropped the ball and waited to close to back to school to have it here in time. Him and I were both so excited to see what they had sent him! And I was so wowed! I mean I expected to like a couple pieces, but not the entire fix! I also expected it to be uber expensive and I was also so shocked it wasn’t. Jackson got 10 items all name brands, and it totaled around $130. Thats $13 dollars a piece!
*Disclaimer, for the record, Jackson created his own modeling poses.
Sovereign Code Fleece Shorts & Odin & Ivy Graphic Tee
First up are these navy and white striped shorts. I love fleece shorts for the boys. I feel like its equivalent to leggings for girls. They are comfy and you can style them nicely with a pair of tennis shoes and a tee.
Jackson plays Hockey, so this Okay But First Skate shirt was so fitting for him! The tee and shorts both wash super well.
Hurley Henley tee & Under Armour Fleece Jogger
Super Cute Blue Hurley Henley tee, can’t go wrong with a henley. Always stylish
And these Under Armour Joggers, We’re fans of the under armour brand in our house, especially with our older daughter whom plays soccer. Love the longevity and the craftsmanship with there clothing. And for the price of these joggers you can’t beat it.
Threads 4 Thought Ronnie Pullover Hoodie
Jackson and Babe Ruth have something in common. The difference, I haven’t the slightest clue what Jackson is pointing at, but hey it works. I definitely had to make getting him to try on all these clothes a game. So I’ll take what I can get.
This Hoodie is one of Jackson’s favorite pieces. It’s is Eco – Friendly and a Stitch Fix Exclusive. He loves it because it’s his favorite color and its unbelievably soft!
Flapdoodles Flynn Raglan Tee
Here we go with the pose again! And how cute is this Raglan tee, at least me and Jackson thought it was pretty cool. Paired with the Joggers it makes a pretty sweet comfy outfit.
Kid Dangerous Graphic Tee & Sovereign Code Kellen Knit Joggers
One more with the pointing pose! This tee, hands down Jackson’s favorite from his entire Stitch Fix. He loved the Pizza shirt! And what’s not to love… because pizza = Love!
These Knit joggers are pretty cool too. They are super comfortable, and have an elastic waist, but they have more of a pants then actual sweatpants look to them. Which is nice to be able to dress it up if need be.
Tailor Vintage David Raglan Graphic Tee
I love this tee, and I love the vintage outdoorsy patches on it. Great fall winter raglan! Paired again with the Sovereign Code Joggers. Jackson demanded he would not be photographed with socks on, but if it was allowed I would’ve shown you how fun it looks paired with a pair of Vans or tennis shoes.
Sovereign Code Bryson Pullover
One word, DINOSAURS! I mean what boy doesn’t love a good dinosaur shirt? I loved this pullover and so did Jackson, its so fun and stylish for a little boys wardrobe!
Completely blindsided by this Stitch Fix Kids! I did not expect, and more importantly Jacksons to like and keep it all! That is seriously one less thing I have to worry about now that he’s got some good fall/ winter outfits to get him into the colder weather here in the Chicago Suburbs. I plan to check it out for the rest of my kids and I’m hoping for the same success. Because at the end of the day not having to worry about all the clothing items I need to buy is one less thing I can worry about.
