Spooky Halloween Entryway With Party City
I am in disbelief that we’re already talking Halloween!!! But here we are, and soon enough it will be here and gone!! Halloween might just be one of my favorite times of the year, and definitely one of my favorite holiday’s to decorate for. Halloween is always about thinking outside of the box and being super creative! Whether it be costumes or decor its always a blast to add some fun touches. That being said, when I was offered the opportunity to partner with Party City, to create a spooky theme in my home, I was beyond excited!!
I love a good challenge, and better yet, a Halloween decor challenge! That had my name written all over it. What did I need to do first… I needed to figure out where I wanted to create a spooky setting. Not sure which area of my home I wanted to spook out, and ideas were just coming, and coming. Having to narrow it down, I knew a trip into the store would probably help me narrow down my decision.
Shop ’til you Drop
Walking into Party City, right off the bat (pun intended), I was greeted with some spooky fun decor. The first thing I saw was a table set up, with chilling family photos. Instantly it hit me like a flying bat, I knew what eerie home decor scape I wanted to create… A spooky halloween entry! Using the chilling family photos, I thought it would be a budget friendly and fun way to spruce up my small entry.
After grabbing some haunted portraits. I found a really cool spider, that’s motion activated . Then what sealed my haunted entryway theme, was this AMAZING top hat! It was so authentic, and looked so old fashioned. Right out of a horror movie! I had to have it!! Grabbing a few more scary items, I hurried up and checked out. My total was right around $50, which was amazing, because I felt like I was grabbing everything in sight, like a halloween shopping spree!!
Let’s get Spooky!
After speeding home ( I promise I didn’t break any laws) with all my halloween decor gems I laid everything out and figured out my plan!
Using command hooks I stuck up my haunted portraits, this way they looked pretty real, and no damage is done to the walls. I like to call that, a win win 😉
The entryway is small, and runs into my dining room, it really is a challenging space to decorate. While I was adjusting and trying to figure out how to display the spooky top hat, a lightbulb went off!! Whipping together these hooks with some hardware I had laying around, and a scrap piece of wood. Just can’t get enough of a fast, and free home decor update!! And now more spots for these spooky touches to be shown off! Another thing that had to be shown off, the awesome halloween masks from Party City!
Adding the spider webs, which cost .99! Something I just adore when decorating spaces is an object that costs so little but, makes such a big impact. That’s how I feel about these spider webs, Party city really was such a one stop shop for all the Halloween decor. Like the bag of skulls I picked up, I couldn’t wait to get these home, and use them in my entryway. These skulls are timeless, and I am excited to use them throughout the years to come. So many uses, cloches, in a bowl, great for a tablescape, vase filler, porch decor… literally the best!
A little spray paint fun
The cauldron was $3.99, and was perfect to hold the bags of skulls. Giving my own little twist on it, I wanted to add a pop of brass/ gold. Checking the garage I found a bottle of antique bronze spray paint, and gave the cauldron a little update! Added some plastic bags, a few pumpkins, and Ta – Da! A quick an easy update!!
Last Touches
Finally, the finishing touches, Bats!!! Another amazing Halloween touch you can find at Party City that’s really inexpensive, and will make a great decor impact! If all else fails when decorating for Halloween, add bats and webs! It always gives an instant design boost. I had forgotten to get bats when I first purchased all my supplies, but no worries!! Went online and placed an order for curbside pick up. Such a simple, straightforward process! Best part, they brought it right to my car!
Wrapping it up!! Loved getting the chance to create a ghostly entryway with Party City. From curbside pick up, budget friendly decor, and having everything I need in one store, it made it easy to put haunted touches in my home this year. Home Sweet Haunted Home!! Thanks again to Party City for making it so easy to create a great spot!!
Wow!!! This is soooo cute!!! Love all the festive touches!!! Such perfect Halloween decor!!!
