May Stitch Fix
Time for another monthly Stitch Fix review. First of all if you missed my original post explaining stitch fix, in short it’s a service that will send you clothes to try on, you keep what you want, and send back what you don’t want. You can also check out my original blog post Welcome To The Beautiful World of Stitch Fix for all the details. This month I just asked for some basic pieces to bring me into the spring/summer months as I am getting ready for the warmer weather! Yay warmer weather… even though I’m pretty sure I’ll be complaining about the heat shortly!
I really can’t tell you enough how much I love having clothes sent directly to my house and I can try them on at home, and not have to cram a stroller full of kids into the dressing room with me, as I am trying to not lose my shit and have a breakdown in the mall! It took me a little bit and a handful of fixes before I got a stylist I felt really knew me and exactly what I am looking for. Another plus is my Pinterest board is connected to my stitch fix, so my stylist just hops on and can see exactly what I’ve been pinning as well!
So first Outfit is…..
Pink Clover Bodysuit & STS BLUE Distressed Hem Skinny Jean
This body suit is really cute, I have to be honest, I wasn’t thrilled when I saw a bodysuit in my Fix, because it immediately took me back to my childhood in the early 90’s and I hated them, but they’ve come a long way, at least this one has. It was really comfy, and I liked how it was loose around my pooch (please ignore my bra strap I’m doing a photo shoot while one is napping!)
And the Jeans, I was excited about the jeans, because they’re STS blue and I’ve wanted to try a pair out! They’re pretty reasonably priced and similar styles are carried at Nordstrom, they are really comfy!! And these are a little frayed at the bottom front and in the back they’re a little longer making them perfect with heels!
Second outfit…
Absolutely Percy Cold Shoulder Knot Front Top & Urban Expressions Melany Straw Clutch
Again with the STS Jeans! And this cold shoulder top. I was unsure about the top when I took it out of the box, and was sure it was going to go right back in the box, but after trying it on I really liked it. The material is soft and I felt like it was really flattering to my body shape (if you’re wondering my body shape is mom of four with the inter tube ring around my waist 😜) as you can see this shirt hid that well!
This straw bag I fell in love with the second I saw it, it’s such a cute little summer bag for a date night or girls night out!
My last outfit…
Kaileigh Tamara Smocked Top Romper
Was this romper, I actually had it pinned on my Pinterest board, and my stylist found it for me!! So I was pretty excited! I liked the romper, sometimes I feel like if you’re not super skinny rompers can make you look pregnant or at least I look pregnant. This one did not! We’re going on vacation in July and I thought this romper would be cute to throw on for a dinner after a day at the beach! And of course I paired it with this little bag I’m in love with!
Again another successful Stitch Fix, I’m already excited for my next fix!!!❤️
Love that second top!
