Kids Summer Fun Buckets
So… it’s here…summer break. We are so ready to put this school year behind us… it has been one for the books! I mean that literally. From remote learning, to hybrid learning, to remote learning, to in person, it has been a wild ride! Now It’s time to celebrate accordingly, every year we welcome summer break with some baskets filled with summer fun!!
What are summer fun buckets?? They are buckets, baskets, filled with all types of fun activities to keep the kids entertained. Replacing items that may have gotten beat up last summer; such as, chalk, bubbles, water balloons…etc. Along with a couple fun new surprises, Maybe walkie talkies for hide and seek with friends, or a bird watching book. I usually start gathering supplies for these baskets in April, when all the fun summer stuff starts hitting the shelves! 
Baskets… in the past I’ve used sand buckets from the dollar tree, but this year I found these in the target dollar spot, I figured we can use them for summer toy storage as well. 
Some of the items I’ve put in them from past to this year, an instant camera, great for those nature walks, flashlights, new towels, backyard games, the list goes on!
I also like to include some rainy day activities, coloring books, paint and Dollar tree canvases, even a bath bomb for “spa day”. For most of the items, I purchased them at Dollar tree, Target, and Amazon.
