Survival Beauty Must Have’s
Getting ready for most days consists of throwing my hair up, tossing on a pair of leggings and a tee, and running out the door. Some days there is just no time for me, because running around after four kids is never a dull moment. At anytime sh*t can get crazy! It’s a total game of survival, which is why I like to try and treat myself to beauty products that make my life easier. These survival beauty must have’s are items I have fallen in love with. Items that at this moment are making me feel like a human being again!
Lush – R&B Hair Moisturizer
My first beauty Must Have is Lush’s R&B Moisturizer.For the most part I shower at night and throw my hair up. When I wake up my hair is shiny and more manageable. Let me tell you my hair has a mind of its own, some days its wavy and some days its flat and straight. I never know what I am going to get. This container lasts me anywhere from 6-9 months. I apply a tiny amount to my hair, concentrating on the ends after the shower. It keeps my hair shiny and my ends looking dull and split. It gives my hair a great shine, with out weighing it down or causing any buildup.
John Freida – Hot Air Brush
This is my absolute favorite thing! I’ve been using this for about 2 months and I’m obsessed with it. The price is great, and so far no complaints! This hot air brush makes blowdrying and styling my hair that much easier, and eliminates the step of having to straighten my hair after. I love how my hair looks, and I’m not sitting there holding a round brush the whole entire time. My hair is on the flat side, and I feel like this totally helps give me volume.
R+Co Acid Wash ACV Cleanser
I received this in my FabFitFun x Pinterest box and was excited, because I had heard good things about it. I was skeptical at first because I hate the smell of apple cider vinegar, but this has a great smell to it. I use it monthly, and it strengthens, moisturizes, and soothes the hair. My hair feels super soft afterwards and looks so much healthier. I love this little splurge item!
Tarte – Shape Tape Under Eye Concealer
There will NEVER be a day that I don’t leave home with out this. You could take away every beauty product I own, but not this one. I suffer from hereditary dark circles, that I’ve been told there is no fix for. Not to mention I have four kids, sleep is a rare thing around here. This stuff works like you wouldn’t believe, I have tried everything under the sun. It’s the real deal!
Kopari – Coconut Body Glow
This was also an item out of my latest FabFitFun X Pinterest Box. It came in a set with a bunch of other kopari products that I really like. I especially like this little gem because it gave my sling such a lovely glow and it smells amazing! I like to apply this to my arms, chest, shoulders, and legs(if I’m wearing shorts or dress). It’s great for a date night or a night out with friends. It immediately made me feel like a million bucks!
